What Makes Evasafe™ Different
Developed by industrial products giant Bridgestone, Evasafe™ is an EVA-based (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) thermoset adhesive film with a unique 3D cross-linking capability which bonds panes of glass permanently.
This Evasafe™ interlayer creates a backbone for the glass to withstand some of the toughest conditions, for ultimate security and protection. Yet this same bond makes it one of the most creative and adaptable glass products available.
During the bonding process a whole range of artistic treatments can be added – fabrics, polycarbonates, stone and wood veneers, steel, LED lights, and more… just ask us about the possibilities.
How Safe?
Evasafe™ meets the New Zealand Grade A Safety Standards in accordance with NZS 4223: Part 3 and AS/NZS 2208 – Safety Glazing materials in Buildings.
